We build and run computational experiments to develop new technology.
Explore our researchInMotion Labs is an independent research and development company. We design computational models of complex physical systems, run them on GPU and cloud computing infrastructure, and turn the results into new technology.
Our work combines simulation, software engineering and AI. Most experiments test ideas that may not work, so we build tools to check our own results rigorously, including the ones that don't work.
The company holds patent applications in its fields and is building its portfolio alongside its research.

Research into how people see, and into new ways of presenting visual information.
02 / Approach
We turn research questions into computational models, run experiments on them, and check the results with our own AI-assisted verification methods before treating them as reliable. Many experiments test ideas that may not work, and a clear negative result tells us something too.
03 / Technology
How we build and run our simulations.
We write our own simulation software, from the physical model to the analysis of its results. That lets us change any part of a model when the research demands it, and know exactly what our results depend on.
We check our code against known solutions and established benchmarks before using it on new questions, and build every run to be reproducible.
Our software is GPU-accelerated and designed so that a model developed on one machine can move to much larger compute without being rewritten.
